Personal Security & Self Protection Course
This course uses techniques used in VIP protection to teach you to become your own bodyguard & avoid threatening situations, or recognise them early enough to be able to take appropriate measures before physical force is needed. We also teach effective physical self defence techniques, & how to counter the most common methods of attack. We don't teach 'home office approved' type techniques that are designed 'not to hurt' the attacker, THEY DON'T WORK! We each self protection methods that have been proven to work. This course can be tailored to male only, female only or mixed workshops. Companies or voluntary organisations can show their staff that they care about their employees & invest in their safety with this course.
Edged Weapons Countermeasures
This course is aimed at people in professions where the threat of knife attack is part of their job. The course teaches the participants knife defence methods that have been used & field tested for real. The techniques are fast, simple gross motor function movements; as opposed to locking & grappling techniques which require fine motor functions which become extremely difficult under adrenal stress.
Flight Crew Defensive Tactics
This course covers defensive, counter offensive, arrest & restraint & weapons countermeasures skills specifically for flight crew in a very enclosed environment. Taught by Special Forces instructors, all our methods have been field tested & work in the real world- not just the training hall. They aren't the pathetic 'Home Office Approved' type techniques that simply don't work in real life, but are effective under the stress & duress of high stress situations where many lives could hang in the balance.
Arrest & Restraint Tactics & Techniques
This course is aimed at professionals who as part of their work have the need for arrest & restraint techniques, police, door supervisors, security personnel etc. The techniques taught are restraint techniques that Mark Davies used & developed during his 19 years working as a door supervisor etc. They are simple & effective. The course also covers group tactics & multiple restrainers.
Close Combat for Military & Special Operations
This is the same Close Combat System that Mark currently teaches within UK Special Forces. Unarmed Combatives, Edged Weapons, Impact Weapons & Improvised Weapons are all covered. A force ladder progressing from arrest & restraint techniques right through to lethal force techniques is taught covering every possible situation or scenario. Tactical Edge is such a simple system to become effective with due to its 'commonality of movement', this means that movements done unarmed are almost identical to techniques performed with the knife or an impact weapon. This system is perfect for any military personnel or Police Tactical units.
